GoHighLevel Cost Guide

GoHighLevel Software Cost vs. Implementation Cost

The monthly software fee and the cost to build a useful CRM are two different things. Enciu CRM access is $300 per month for every customer. Your setup fee is quoted after your system review based on the approved work.

Quick answer

GoHighLevel's subscription price is not the same thing as the cost to have the system built for your business. Software gives you access to the platform. Implementation is the work required to map your process, configure the CRM, build pipelines and workflows, connect the right systems, migrate data when needed, test the setup, and train the people who will use it.

For Enciu Consulting clients, the setup fee is quoted after the system review based on the approved work. Enciu CRM platform access is $300 per month for every customer beginning on Day 91. Usage and vendor charges remain separate.

The four layers of GoHighLevel cost

Layer 1

Software access

The recurring fee that keeps the CRM platform available. This is the part most people see first when they search for “GoHighLevel pricing.”

Layer 2

Implementation

The one-time work required to turn a blank or partially configured account into a system that matches the business process.

Layer 3

Usage and vendors

Phone numbers, calls, SMS, email, AI, payment processing, premium features, integrations, and other metered or third-party costs can sit outside the base platform fee.

Layer 4

Future support or expansion

New systems, major revisions, additional training, large data projects, or later scope expansion are separate from the original build unless specifically included.

What does HighLevel itself cost?

As of August 19, 2026, HighLevel's public pricing page lists its agency plans at $97/month for Starter, $297/month for Unlimited, and $497/month for SaaS Pro. Those are HighLevel's own account tiers, with increasing agency, sub-account, branding, API, SaaS, and rebilling capabilities.

HighLevel public planCurrent monthly priceWhat the price represents
Starter$97/monthEntry-level HighLevel subscription with core platform features and a limited number of sub-accounts.
Unlimited$297/monthAgency-level subscription with unlimited sub-accounts and additional agency capabilities.
SaaS Pro$497/monthAgency SaaS tier with SaaS Mode and expanded rebilling/agency capabilities.

Important comparison point: these public HighLevel prices are not Enciu Consulting's implementation prices, and they are not the monthly amount Enciu Consulting advertises to a normal client for Enciu CRM access. They are HighLevel's own public agency subscription tiers.

How Enciu CRM pricing is different

Enciu CRM is Enciu Consulting's branded HighLevel platform for client use. It is built on HighLevel and configured by Enciu Consulting. The recurring price is $300 per month for every customer beginning on Day 91.

That recurring fee covers platform access for one business account and standard employee access under the current Enciu CRM terms. It is separate from the one-time implementation project and separate from usage-based or vendor charges.

Think of it this way: the monthly Enciu CRM fee keeps the system available. The implementation fee pays for the work required to make the system useful to your specific business.

What does Enciu Consulting charge for implementation?

The current package-first implementation pricing is:

Starter
Custom quote
quoted after your system review

Core foundation, phone/texting and A2P setup, one sales pipeline, calendar/booking setup, and handoff/training.

Full Build
Custom quote
quoted after your system review

Everything in Growth plus a past-customer nurture pipeline, a 1–2 page website, and the broader automation/workflow build.

The packages are starting points. A custom scope may make more sense when a business already has part of the system in place or needs a narrower correction. The website stays package-first rather than publishing a long menu of small line-item services.

What are you actually paying for in the implementation fee?

The implementation fee is not a markup on the software login. It pays for the work between “we have HighLevel” and “our team can actually use this system.”

1
Process mappingDecide how leads, customers, appointments, estimates, jobs, payments, and past-customer follow-up should move through the system.
2
CRM structureConfigure fields, pipelines, stages, ownership rules, tags, and opportunity structure around the approved process.
3
Communication setupConfigure the approved phone, SMS, email, notifications, and consent-related pieces included in scope.
4
Booking and paymentsConnect calendars, booking rules, estimates, invoices, payment links, or existing systems when those pieces are part of the project.
5
Automations and integrationsBuild the rules that connect customer actions, stage changes, messages, internal notifications, and outside software.
6
Migration, testing, and handoffMove approved data, test the major paths, correct scope mismatches, and train the team on the finished system.

What costs can be separate from both software and implementation?

A CRM can have variable costs even after the base platform and implementation are paid. Enciu Consulting separates the quoted setup fee, monthly platform access, and usage charges so customers can see what each charge covers.

Possible separate costWhy it can vary
Phone numbers and callsCosts depend on the numbers, calling activity, and underlying provider/platform usage.
SMS / MMSMessaging is usage-based and can also involve carrier or registration-related costs.
EmailSending volume, verification, and related email services can create usage charges.
AI featuresAI products can have separate usage or subscription pricing depending on which features are enabled.
Payment processingCard/payment processor fees are separate from the CRM build.
Premium integrations / third partiesSome connected apps, APIs, automation services, or vendor tools may charge their own fees.

This is why the cleanest budget separates fixed project cost from recurring platform cost and variable usage cost.

Why a $97 software plan does not mean a CRM build should cost $97

Software pricing and professional implementation pricing answer different questions.

  • The software fee answers: “What does access to this product cost?”
  • The implementation fee answers: “What does it cost to design, configure, connect, test, and hand off a working system for this business?”

The same idea applies outside CRM software. Buying accounting software is not the same thing as hiring someone to clean up the books. Buying a website platform is not the same thing as having a business website designed, written, connected, tested, and launched.

When does paying for implementation make sense?

A business may not need done-for-you implementation if the owner already understands HighLevel, has a simple process, enjoys configuring software, and has time to test it thoroughly.

Implementation is more useful when:

  • The owner does not want to become the internal HighLevel builder.
  • Several workflows, pipelines, calendars, or systems need to work together.
  • Existing customer data has to be migrated.
  • A POS, scheduler, website, payment system, or another platform needs to stay connected.
  • The team needs a documented handoff instead of learning from trial and error.
  • The cost of a broken lead or follow-up process is higher than the cost of getting the setup right.
Real implementation perspective

The Carmil Car Audio implementation shows why “software cost” is not the whole project. Shopmonkey stayed in place for operations while HighLevel was connected around it for website leads, estimate follow-up, review requests, post-sale retention, and long-term nurture. The value of that work was in deciding what each system should own and building the connection, not simply opening another software account.

See the Carmil Car Audio implementation case study.

How to compare two GoHighLevel quotes

Do not compare only the monthly number. Ask each provider to separate these items:

Platform accessWhat recurring software/platform fee will you pay, when does it begin, and what happens if you cancel?
Implementation scopeExactly which pipelines, workflows, forms, calendars, integrations, migration work, website work, and payment setup are included?
Usage chargesWhich phone, SMS, email, AI, payment, or third-party costs are outside the quoted amount?
Testing and handoffWho tests the system, what gets reviewed before launch, and how is the team trained?
Support boundariesWhat happens after handoff, what is included, and what becomes new paid work?
